Job summary

Convive Brands operates Le Pain Quotidien in Los Angeles, seeking team members who bring hospitality, warmth, and teamwork to a bustling dining room. You will support guests, manage orders in Toast, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space across the dining and retail areas.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross‑trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive food and beverage orders, enter orders into the POS, and coordinate with the kitchen.
• Anticipate guest needs and note any preferences.
• Maintain full knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Prepare drinks for the dining room, as needed.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager as necessary.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures; daily checklist and side work.
• Organize money and receipts per cash handling policy.
• Keep all areas clean and organized by following checklists.
• Assist with setting up patio furniture and outdoor maintenance when applicable.
