Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, Toast preferred.
• Flexible schedule; cross-training across dining room and retail spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive food and beverage orders, enter into the POS, and coordinate with the kitchen.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Maintain full knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Prepare drinks for the dining room as needed.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate when necessary.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures; follow daily checklists and side work.
• Organize money and receipts per cash handling policy.
• Keep restaurant areas clean and organized per checklists.
