Allina Health is seeking a Hospitalist for Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis to provide overnight inpatient care as the attending physician. You will lead comprehensive patient management, review histories, and coordinate with ICU and emergency medicine to guide decisions.

The role requires board eligibility/certification in Internal Medicine, MN licensure, and ACLS/BLS. Abbott Northwestern Hospital offers a large urban quaternary setting with extensive resources and a supportive team.

Formación

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training from an approved school of medicine required.
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency program in Internal Medicine.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified with ABMS or AOA in Internal Medicine required.
• Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to obtain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and hospital privileges.
• ACLS/BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the attending physician for medical inpatients overnight.
• Reviews patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care.
• Coordinate with ICU, emergency medicine, and specialty services.
• Provide consultation and procedural care within your scope.
• Use Excellian, one of the most comprehensive electronic health record systems in the country.
