Job summary

BayCare in Riverview, FL is seeking a facility maintenance technician to join its hospital network. The role focuses on maintenance, operation, and repair of buildings, equipment and systems across our facilities, ensuring safety and reliability.

The position is full-time with a 7:00am-3:30pm shift, Monday through Friday, and may require travel to other BCHS sites. A high school diploma is required, with technical field preferred, and two years of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years maintenance experience required.
• 1 year hospital-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and repair buildings, equipment, and systems across facilities.
• Perform general mechanical repairs as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for facility equipment across trades.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environments.
• Occasionally work shifts or weekends to meet hospital needs.
• May travel to other BCHS facilities to perform maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
