Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an EVS Associate - In Patient to perform daily cleaning in patient areas, offices and non-patient spaces. You will work with a healthcare team, ensuring respectful communication with patients and staff.

The role includes supporting NICU, ICU and various inpatient units as needed, with a Monday–Friday 5:00 PM–11:30 PM schedule. Responsibilities include floor care, cleaning of equipment and spaces, waste handling, and adherence to department procedures.

Qualifications

• Some High School required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs multi-step cleaning in patient areas, offices, public and non-patient areas.
• Performs dry/wet mopping and floor/carpet care.
• Responds to discharge, spill, flood events and assists in patient moves and setups.
• Manages waste and supplies, coordinates with supervisor on inventory.
• Reports equipment issues and maintains clean, stocked carts.
