Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning of patient areas, office, public, and/or other non-patient areas.
• Performs dry and wet mopping, floor and carpet care, and equipment cleaning.
• Responds to discharge orders and hospital-wide needs, maintains cleanliness of rooms and equipment.
• Handles solid and contaminated waste and maintains clean storage areas.
• Follows department cleaning procedures and reports equipment or supply issues.
