Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; 1–2 years housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills may be required.
• Able to operate small electrical equipment such as vacuum cleaners.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, strip, polish and refinish floors using appropriate equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment (ringers, vacuums, floor machines, sweepers).
• Follow department processes for cleaning and sanitizing floors and rooms.
• Assist with waste handling and proper disposal per hospital policy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and demonstrate professional conduct with patients and staff.
