Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Environmental Services is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Technician for the 3 PM to 11:30 PM shift. The role is 40 hours per week with pay range $18.85–$28.30 per hour.

The incumbent will clean and disinfect assigned areas, follow department procedures, and maintain a safe, orderly environment in hospital spaces. They will move equipment, replenish supplies, and adhere to infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Clean and disinfect assigned area(s) following department procedures.
• Move equipment and supplies as needed and report safety hazards.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas in patient rooms, offices, rest rooms, and other hospital spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operates cleaning equipment per department procedures.
• Uses chemicals according to policy and ensures containers are properly labeled.
• Replenishes supplies and collects waste while maintaining a courteous, confidential environment.
• Thoroughly washes and sanitizes beds and rooms after patient discharge per procedures.
• Observes infection control policies and safety regulations at all times.
