Job summary

Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking an Environmental Service Aide for the Prosper Medical Office Building environment. The role involves cleaning patient rooms, dismissals, units, and other areas using cleaning supplies and disinfectants.

Includes trash and linen removal, with the evening shift from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, five days a week, Monday to Friday. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, English literacy, and prior experience in hospital or hotel housekeeping

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• One year previous experience in hospital or motel preferred.
• Housekeeping or Hotel Housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive cleaning of assigned patient rooms, dismissals, units, X-Ray, Surgery, Recovery, Emergency, offices using standard cleaning supplies and disinfectants.
• Empties trash and linen.
