Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to clean and sanitize patient rooms and common areas in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. The role demands attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work during evening shifts.

You will operate cleaning equipment, follow safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff. A High School Diploma or GED is required with a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent customer service and communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift up to 40 lb routinely, 60 lb occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine, specialized cleaning in assigned areas per policy.
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms and common areas.
• Remove trash and soiled linen; replace linen on beds and in rooms as needed.
• Restock supplies and maintain cleaning carts.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and report mechanical failures.
