Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Courier for the evening shift in Bethlehem, PA. This full-time role involves transporting supplies, specimens, patients, and related items across the network, with duties including packing, scanning, and ensuring proper delivery.

Responsibilities also cover transporting medications, assisting with route training for new staff, and occasional travel to other sites. A high school diploma and a valid PA/NJ license are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Possess a valid Pennsylvania or New Jersey driver's license.
• Good driving record and knowledge of the Lehigh Valley area.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up supplies, mail and other items and deliver as needed.
• Scan packages with barcodes when delivered and download at the end of shift.
• Verify sorting of mail and packages to ensure proper delivery.
• Pick-up specimens at off-site locations and transport to Network Labs as directed.
• Transport patients to and from hospital for various departments.
• Transport medications within the network and to other healthcare facilities.
• Train new staff on routes and procedures.
• Willing to travel to other sites as necessary.
