Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an Afterschool Elementary Homebound Instructor to provide instruction for grades K-6 under a contract/hourly arrangement. The role requires a valid teaching certificate or substitute permit, with Special Education certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Teaching Certificate or Substitute Permit.
• Special Education certification required.
• Commit to six hours toward certification and remain in position for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in all areas of the curriculum according to each student's class schedule.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to obtain assignments for each scheduled class.
• Instruct students in all curriculum areas, two evenings per week for two hours per session (four hours total).
• Keep attendance records and reports as per Clay County Schools policies.
• Communicate to parents about progress, sessions, and other necessary information.
