Job summary

Hazard Community and Technical College is seeking a Helpdesk Coordinator II to provide technology support for evening classes and events. The role primarily serves the Hazard Campus and the Technical Campus, with shift hours Monday through Friday 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus one year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist students, faculty, and staff with computer hardware and software issues in classrooms, labs, and offices.
• Provide technical support for MFA using Azure Active Directory.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Deliver technical assistance and maintenance for Smart Classrooms and AV equipment.
• Maintain daily operations and user support in campus computer labs.
• Provide end-user support for PeopleSoft-related help desk tickets.
• Manage user accounts, group memberships, and permissions in Active Directory.
• Perform basic computer management tasks including imaging, software installation, updates, and asset tracking.
• Assist with basic computer networking tasks, including running and terminating network cables, identifying port locations, and testing connectivity.
• Perform other duties as requested.
