Hazard Community & Technical College is seeking a Facilities Worker II to support the Maintenance and Operations unit on the Hazard Campus, Monday through Friday, 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:00 pm). The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience, with preferred familiarity in groundskeeping machinery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• Experience in groundskeeping or custodial tasks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform groundskeeping such as mowing, trimming, and weeding.
• Custodial duties including cleaning offices, bathrooms, classrooms, windows, and floors.
• Light maintenance tasks: minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Assist with event setup and teardown.
• Other duties as assigned.
