Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Distribution Specialist for the Supply Chain Services department. This full-time, evening shift runs 3pm to 11:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will support and distribute inventory to par locations, deliver equipment and supplies, maintain accurate records, and help keep a safe, organized storeroom. The role requires basic math, good communication, and adaptability to a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a healthcare environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy and replenish supplies to nursing units per par levels.
• Deliver medical equipment and supplies between usage areas.
• Perform physical inventories in assigned areas and document results.
• Maintain storeroom and paper/electronic records of transactions.
• Ensure clean, safe work environment in the department.
• Assist with yearly inventory tasks as needed.
