Job summary

MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital is seeking a Distribution Specialist (Per Diem) to support the Supply Chain Operations team. You will monitor materials and patient care equipment, resolve discrepancies and fulfill requests to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include verifying PO receipts, coordinating with Purchasing, handling returns, and stocking the distribution storeroom. Per diem schedule and variable shifts apply.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in receiving, distribution, warehousing or inventory control preferred.
• Computer input/keyboard experience desired.
• Experience with an electronic signature software preferred.
• Basic experience in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials and receipts documentation against purchase orders.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve PO or receipt discrepancies.
• Package/process supplies and materials returned to vendors or facilities.
• Supply stores stock Supplies within the Distribution Storeroom location.
