Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a Distribution Specialist to join our Supply Chain Services team on a PRN basis. The role involves maintaining and distributing inventory to par locations, and delivering equipment and supplies to nursing units and other user areas.

Training for at least two weeks on the desired shift is required, and weekend work is possible. Candidates should have strong attention to accuracy, good communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must adapt to a healthcare environment and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to perform mathematical functions and read.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and distribute inventory to par locations on nursing units and user areas.
• Replenish supplies and maintain accurate par levels and labeling.
• Deliver medical equipment and supplies to usage areas as assigned.
• Keep accurate daily records of all storeroom and Pxyis transactions.
