MU Health Care is seeking an Environmental Services Technician at our Columbia/Jefferson City area facilities. The role emphasizes infection prevention, safety, and patient- and staff-facing service.

You will perform cleaning in patient rooms, restrooms, procedure areas, and public spaces, handle soiled linen and waste, and follow PPE and HIPAA guidelines. This on-site position includes an evening shift with a base pay range of $15.78 to $22.53 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour evening shift

Competenze

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Mansioni

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in patient rooms, procedure areas, restrooms, public areas, clinics, and offices according to established protocols.
• Interacts professionally with patients, visitors, staff, and the public, using approved scripting and maintaining a service-oriented approach.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Follows all infection control guidelines, including the use of PPE and isolation room procedures.
• Handles soiled linen, regular waste, and medical waste in accordance with department safety standards.
