Job summary

Kirby Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services Technician in Monticello, IL to clean Operating Room recovery rooms, GI procedure room and Surgery Discharge rooms from the Med/Surg area while upholding infection prevention standards.

This full-time role features a 36-hour workweek with a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM, occasional weekend coverage, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills and ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently to meet daily tasks.
• Knowledge of infection control and proper PPE handling.

Responsibilities

• Clean Operating Room recovery rooms, GI procedure room and Surgery Discharge rooms.
• Maintain infection prevention standards across Med/Surg area.

Hourly Rate: $16.05-$18.43

Kirby Medical Center is looking for a dependable, outgoing , detail-oriented indidvidual to clean Operating Room recovery patient rooms, GI procedure room and Surgery Discharge rooms from Med/Surg area to maintain infection prevention standards.

Skills:

• Basic Computer knowledge is a must.
• The ablity to to understand and follow written or oral instructions.
• Good time management- must be able to work effectively alone and prioritize daily tasks, meet deadlines without sacrificing quaility.
• Have a deep understanding of infection control, safe chemical handling and proper use of PPE.
• Attention to detail- good eye for missed dust, streaks on glass and irregularities in a space's overall appearance.

Requirements

• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
