Job summary

Clearbrook is hiring a Habilitation Aide for Wilke ICF in Rolling Meadows, IL. The role is full-time with a 2:30pm-11:00pm schedule (40 hrs/week) and $21.35/hour plus paid training. Responsibilities include providing active treatment, assisting with daily living activities, and helping clients access community resources.

Must have HS diploma, a valid IL driver’s license, and be at least 21 years old. Experience with behavior disorders and autism preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid IL driver's license required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Previous experience with behavior disorders and autism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned.
• Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources.
• Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping.
• Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.
• Must be able to perform a 2-person lift.
• This is not a sleep facility - staff are required to be awake for the duration of entire shift.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Valid IL driver's license

Must be 21 years of age
