Job summary

Taymax Group is seeking a Full-Time Assistant General Manager for a fixed-term contract at our Nashville (Antioch) Planet Fitness club. The role supports club operations, staff leadership and delivering the Judgement Free Zone experience. Evening shift is 2pm–10pm with payroll duties and ongoing staff oversight.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of customer service experience, CPR certification, and strong teamwork and communication skills to drive a welcoming fitness environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• One year of customer service experience, preferably in gym or retail.
• CPR Certification required.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite) and quick system learning.
• Strong customer service and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring and developing a high-performing staff including front desk and trainers.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and supervise staff scheduling to ensure coverage.
• Greet members, check in, answer questions and convey events to members.
• Oversee front desk operations and ensure excellent customer service at all times.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the club; report repairs to facilities team.
• Assist with supplies ordering within budget and track weekly/monthly statistics.
• Support marketing efforts and help implement promotions.
• Make daily bank deposits as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
