OBE is seeking a general laborer to grind glass to size in a 2nd shift manufacturing setting. You will operate cutting and grinding tools to shape flat glass sheets delivered in large sizes and place finished pieces on rolling carts.

The role requires safety focus and reliability in a fast-paced environment in Westbrook, ME or nearby facility. We value strong attendance, willingness to learn, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds alone (150 pounds with help).

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds alone, or 150 pounds with a team.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Previous shop floor or warehouse experience desirable but not required; training provided.
• Regular and predictable attendance and adherence to safety policies are essential.

Responsibilities

• Grind glass to size using various tools and equipment.
• Move sheets from cutting table to rolling carts.
• Maintain work area and inventory control; meet production goals.
