Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Westbrook, Maine is looking for employees to safely load and unload glass products. Job Summary

This position requires the safe loading and unloading of glass product onto the lamination glass line. Attention to detail and ability to accurately identify the proper sides of the glass is a must, as well as strong prioritization skills based on production schedule. Must possess a high sense of urgency and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. A strong commitment to safety is required.

This is a 1st shift position, scheduled Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:00pm, Friday 6:00am-2:00pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The employee is expected to perform any function requested by management, maintain the work area, conduct inventory and quality control related to the product being assembled, and meet production goals set by management. Responsibilities include the safe and consistent lifting of up to 75 pounds alone or 150 pounds in a team lift, complying with pre‑employment drug testing and criminal background checks, and having reliable transportation. Previous shop floor or factory/warehouse experience is highly desirable.

Regular and predictable attendance, safe performance of tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this role.
