Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport in Maryland is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide daily living activities for residents under licensed supervision. This part-time, evening shift role offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities to contribute to high-quality resident care.

You will assist with personal hygiene, nutrition, and daily living tasks, document observations, and participate in care planning while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to facility policies and safety

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the state Nursing Assistant registry within 120 days of employment.
• Able to lift 30 pounds frequently.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn for an 8-hour shift.
• English speaking and basic literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow policies and procedures.
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Provide clean linens and bed-making.
• Encourage proper nutrition and assist with feeding.
• Perform resident treatments within nursing scope as assigned.
• Record observations clearly and report changes to the team leader.
• Participate in resident care planning.
• Promote activities of daily living per care plan.
• Follow Lift Free Program for transfers.
