Job summary

Claremont Companies, Inc. is seeking an Evening Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor in New York, NY. The role focuses on leading the Front Office during nighttime hours and maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring guest satisfaction.

The candidate will handle evening operations, support staff, and work closely with Housekeeping. Flexibility for 3 days weekly with two overnight shifts is required; Marriott experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in hotel front office is a plus.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to work the described shifts: Tue–Thu 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; Fri–Sat 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Marriott Brand experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with hospitality industry software desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the Front Office on the evening shift.
• Act as manager on duty, handle complaints, problems, disturbances, and special requests.
• Inform Front Office staff of daily activities, arrivals, and special requests; escort guests to accommodations when needed.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping to improve guest services and cross-department communication.
• Enforce emergency and safety procedures and ensure staff are trained.
• Responsible for all Front Office operational duties during evening shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
