Vista Host Hotels Management & Development is hiring a Guest Service Representative for the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus Scioto Downs, reporting to the Guest Service Manager/AGM/GM. Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests at the front desk.
• Perform QA requirements for the front office department.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Remain visible and available to guests, offering assistance as needed.
• Adhere to credit policies for payments and deposits.
• Manage guest complaints and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Greet, register, upsell, issue keys, and assign rooms efficiently.
• Provide information about hotel services, dining, and local attractions.
• Check out guests and notify housekeeping of departures.
• Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via phone, computer, and written communication.
• Answer and route calls in a friendly manner.
• Update shift-to-shift logs for clear communication.
• Maintain lobby and front desk cleanliness and organization.
• Assist other departments as needed.
