Job summary

Greystone Golf and Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a part-time evening front desk receptionist to join our team. The role supports guest services, event promotion, and administrative duties at the clubhouse.

Typical schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The role requires a friendly, organized individual with strong communication and computer skills to manage reservations and greet members and guests.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist experience in a country club, resort, or professional office.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer a multi-line telephone in a timely and courteous fashion.
• Greet guests and manage front desk operations for the clubhouse.
• Open doors and assist members and guests at the front of the club.
• Manage the online reservation system and communicate updates to staff.
• Take messages and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Maintain orderliness of the clubhouse, including front desk and common areas.
• Assist with decorating and maintaining aesthetics of the clubhouse.
• Support administrative staff as needed.
