Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior warehousing or freight handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and operate dock equipment.
• Basic math and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight between dock areas and trailers for loading.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and hand truck as needed.
• Verify freight documentation and weights.
• Secure freight inside trailers with straps, pallets.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Adhere to laws, regulations and company policies.
• Other duties as required.
