Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a dock worker to transport freight across the dock area to and from trailers. You will operate forklifts and hand trucks, verify documentation, and secure freight inside trailers using pallets and straps.

The role requires basic math, clear communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Hours include a 4:00 PM–8:00 PM shift with day-to-day duties outlined above.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in warehousing or forklift operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck as needed.
• Verify freight documentation matches description.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, or rope.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation as needed.
