Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a dock/freight handler in PA to transfer freight across dock areas and load freight to trailers. The role uses forklift and pallet jack, with a focus on accurate documentation and secure loading. Shift is 1700–2200. Starting rate is $21.78 per hour.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, and good communication, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Move freight using motorized and manual equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.
• Verify freight documentation matches description (type, weight, hazmat).
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps or ropes.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight when needed.
• Record and report required documentation.
• Assist customers with freight and documentation when needed.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Follow laws, regulations, and company policies; perform other duties as required.
