Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Foundry Supervisor to lead the evening shift (5pm - 3am, Monday-Thursday with occasional OT). You will oversee a ~20-person foundry team, develop production schedules, mentor staff, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a foundry / casting environment (permanent mold), with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of leading and motivating a team.
• Experience in scheduling, planning, and coordinating resources to meet production targets.
• Strong training skills with ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Excellent reporting skills and ability to monitor production performance.
• Experience handling work requests and coordinating with other departments and stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to safety with experience implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to address issues and conflicts effectively.
• Commitment to continuous improvement with a proactive approach to improving processes and systems.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a diverse team of ~20 during the evening shift.
• Develop and implement production schedules, coordinating resources and manpower.
• Train and mentor team members for growth and performance.
• Monitor and report on production performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Handle work requests and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Address issues or conflicts to keep operations productive.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems.
