Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical seeks a Formulation Technician for its Pleasanton, CA facility. The role focuses on forming and testing columns and related consumables, with responsibilities spanning assembly, data recording, and maintaining a clean lab environment.

The position requires a life science degree with manufacturing or lab experience preferred, strong data-driven problem-solving, and proficiency in MS Office; willingness to learn chromatography software and GMPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or related field; manufacturing or lab experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn chromatography software.
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing assignments.
• Excellent communication, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform column production lab work including testing and HPLC column packing.
• Do data entry, assist with solvent disposal and restocking.
• Assist in instrument maintenance and supply ordering.
• Document records and follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Pursue personal growth through training and skill development.
• Promote teamwork and adhere to quality procedures.
