Job summary

Kelly® Science & Clinical seeks a Formulation Technician for a contract role at its Pleasanton, CA facility. You’ll craft and test columns and related consumables, perform assembly, testing, recordkeeping, and maintain a clean lab.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm with onsite work. Strong data entry, SOP adherence, and GMP/GLP familiarity are valued, along with teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science; prior manufacturing or lab experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn chromatography software.
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices (GLP/GMP).

Responsibilities

• Conducting column production lab work, including testing and HPLC column packing.
• Performing computer data entry and assisting with solvent disposal and restocking.
• Assisting in instrument and equipment maintenance, as well as supply ordering.
• Documenting detailed records and following SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Continuing personal growth through training and skill development.
• Promoting teamwork and adhering to quality procedures and regulations.
