Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Food Unit Lead at Mayo Clinic Harwick in Rochester, MN. You will coordinate daily food-service operations, ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, and support staff scheduling and training.

You will oversee meal preparation, maintain sanitation standards, manage cash handling, and work a start time between 5:30 and 9:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees daily food-service activities to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Supervises preparation and service of meals in line with standards for presentation, safety, and sanitation.
• Ensures timely meal service and supervises serving of meals.
• Trains employees and coordinates staff to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
• Determines work procedures, schedules, and workflow to maximize productivity.
• Maintains required daily/weekly/monthly reports (inventory, payroll, timekeeping).
• Manages cash handling per Food Accounting Manual and related controls.
• Orders food and supplies from approved sources and monitors inventory and quality.
• Upholds sanitation and safety standards and schedules cleaning of kitchen and dining areas.
