Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR at Mayo Clinic Methodist in Rochester, MN. The schedule is 4:30 am to 1:00 pm or 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm with every-other-weekend work; prior cooking and supervisory experience in food services is required.

Fixed pay rate: $26.50 per hour. Direct the activities of associates on shift, train staff, and prepare production reports to meet quality, productivity and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking and management or supervisory experience in food services required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers; reward high performers; discipline underperformers accordingly.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity and safety expectations.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
