Job summary

Wynfield Park Health & Rehab is seeking a part-time evening kitchen assistant. You will support the cook with meal prep, serve patients, and maintain dining area cleanliness. The role includes tray service, handling nourishments, and adhering to infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assist cook in preparation of meals.
• Carry trays to patients in halls.
• Clean tables in dining area after meals.
• Help with salads, desserts and other dishes.
• Pour juice, milk, water and tea; serve patients.
