Job summary

Hartwell Health & Rehab seeks a part-time kitchen support employee dedicated to meal service and patient nourishment. You will assist cooks, help with tray lines, and ensure clean, safe dining areas.

The role requires basic reading/writing and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced hospital setting. Starting pay is $14.70 per hour with weekly pay and benefits including PTO, holidays, vision insurance, 401(k) with match, and meal-related perks.

Qualifications

• Communicates well with associates, patients, family members, and visitors with a warm, friendly demeanor.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Professional, courteous interaction to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients and meals.
• Carry trays to patients and deliver meals in dining areas.
• Clean tables and dining surfaces after meals; help with salads and desserts.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Record temperatures and inspect stock; store items properly.
