Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for evening shifts (3:45–8:00 pm) to support meals for patients and staff in the nursing center. You will assist cooks, label nourishments, portion desserts and beverages, and follow production sheets.

Qualifications include strong verbal and written communication, ability to read English, basic sanitation and safety knowledge, with prior food service and long-term care experience preferred. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• The dietary aide candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate
