Job summary

Front Porch is hiring a Food Server for Walnut Village Retirement Community. This part-time, hourly role runs Friday through Tuesday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a pay range of $19.00–$21.00 per hour.

You will interact with residents and team members, ensuring a positive dining experience and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. Under the Dining Room Manager, you will perform serving duties, maintain guest satisfaction, and support with special events as needed.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers’ certification from local health department.
• Basic food handling knowledge and safety compliance.
• 1+ years of Food Service or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables, napkins, and utensils; refill condiments and assist kitchen staff as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and guide them to tables; explain menu items and specials.
• Deliver meals, handle requests, and maintain a clean, safe dining area.
• Assist with events and cover for absent staff as needed.
• Follow all health codes, safety policies, and campus procedures.
