Job summary

Seasons Retirement Community is seeking a food service staff member to take orders, coordinate with the kitchen, and serve meals to residents and guests. You will deliver food and beverages in a timely manner and maintain a positive, professional demeanor with residents and co-workers.

Training is provided; no prior experience required, but food safety training may be needed to obtain necessary certificates.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Must complete food safety training to obtain required licenses/certificates.
• Able to communicate clearly in English.
• Basic computer skills for POS and payroll systems.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor with residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Accept food orders, communicate to kitchen, and deliver food and beverages to residents and/or guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Actively buss and reset tables and complete assigned side work.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.
