Job summary

FirstLink is hiring a Follow-Up Specialist for the evening shift. You will contact individuals after behavioral health experiences, delivering emotional support and connecting them to community resources. The role emphasizes compassionate listening, empathy, and building trust over time.

Schedule options include 2pm–10pm or 3pm–11pm, with an optional Saturday or Sunday on one weekend day. Two consecutive days off per week.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and relationship-focused approach to support
• Experience in behavioral health, crisis services, or helping professions preferred
• Strong listening and empathetic communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Reach out to individuals referred for ongoing support after treatment or crisis
• Provide emotional support and help reconnect with community resources
• Conduct scheduled phone calls and text messages with a warm, non-judgmental approach
• Support callers via 988 Lifeline and 211 Information & Referral as needed
