Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for full-time Floor Technician positions at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Shift options include 7:00 am–3:00 pm, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, and 11:00 pm–7:00 am with rotating weekends.

The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Prior floor care experience preferred; the job offers a $17.00 per hour wage and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas
• Cleans carpets and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager
