Job summary

Lewis Central Community School District is seeking an Evening Custodial Supervisor to oversee the buildings and custodial staff in the evenings. This is a full-time, year-round supervisory role working with the evening custodial team.

Experience as a custodian and supervising others is strongly preferred. The position includes evening shifts, competitive hourly pay, and full district benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 1-2 years managerial experience; 1-2 years facilities/grounds maintenance experience, preferably in a school setting.
• Experience supervising others is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis.
• Supervises evening custodial staff and oversees operations.
• Assists with performance evaluations for evening staff.
• Prepares reports as directed daily.
• Coordinates seasonal grounds work and emergency district needs.
• May supervise buildings and grounds, staff and events on weekends.
