Hours/Schedule: This position is scheduled for 8.5 hours per day with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break. Overtime hours may frequently required and requested by the Buildings and Grounds Director. In addition to their regularly scheduled shift, this position may be asked to work events (usually held during evening or weekend hours) for any building in the District outside of their normal working hours.
Rate of pay: The current base rate for facility managers is $17.00 per hour. Depending on previous work experience or any relatable education or certifications you may hold, this rate could increase by $2.00+ more per hour. Final determination of applicant's individual starting pay rate will be determined by the Business Office/HR.
Benefits: As a full-time full-year position, this position is eligible for our full benefit package, including paid single health and dental benefits with the option to purchase family benefits. A $30,000 life insurance policy at no cost to the employee and have the ability to enroll in a few supplemental insurance programs (vision, accident/critical illness). All employees are automatically enrolled from day one, in the state sponsored retirement program, IPERS. The District contributes 9.44% of employees' wages to this. IPERS requires that employees contribute 6.29% of their wages.
Paid Leaves/Holidays: The District offers both paid sick leave, paid personal leave, and paid vacation leave for this position. This position has 8 paid holidays; 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day following, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Good Friday and Memorial Day.
