Job summary

Central Point School District 6 is seeking a Night Custodian to maintain District facilities in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. The role reports to site administration and involves routine custodial duties throughout district buildings, with a focus on health, safety and professional conduct during evening shifts.

Hours are 8 per day, district-wide location, with a pay range of $17.85–$21.46 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to read, understand and follow multi-step written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleaning standards by vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, scrubbing, waxing, disinfecting, burnishing and polishing.
• Cleans windows, walls, floors, lavatories, sinks, mirrors and water fountains.
• Performs general landscaping tasks, including trimming shrubbery and trees, mowing and edging lawns and removing leaves.
• Refills dispensers for soap, paper towels and toilet paper.
• Moves and arranges desks, chairs, supplies, furniture and other equipment for room setup and events.
• Inspects district buildings for hazards and reports findings to supervisors.
