Job summary

Concern Housing is seeking a Facilities Custodian to perform routine cleaning of the building and renovation/repair of individual apartments. This part-time role is located in Riverhead, NY, with hours from 5pm to 9pm, Wednesday through Sunday.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices and common areas, sanitizing bathrooms, taking out trash, and performing minor maintenance under supervision. Requirements include a High School Diploma (preferred), 6 months of related experience (preferred), and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 6 months or more related experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, hallways, lobby and other common areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and surfaces; restock supplies.
• Perform routine cleaning of individual apartments and common areas.
• Set up and break down furniture for events and activities.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and report repairs as needed.
• Assist with snow/ice removal and exterior area maintenance.
