Concern Housing is seeking a Facilities Custodian to be responsible for the routine cleaning, upkeep, and overall appearance of agency properties and individual apartments located throughout Riverhead, East Patchogue, and Pollack Gardens. This role supports the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance needs of the facilities and will require traveling throughout Suffolk County property sites.
Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm

High School Diploma preferred along with 6 months or more of related custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred. Must possess a valid Driver’s License along with strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and work independently across multiple property locations is required. Must have basic knowledge of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment. Position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to fifty pounds, with heavier items requiring team lift assistance.
