Concern Housing in East Patchogue, NY is hiring a Facilities Custodian for routine cleaning of the building and renovation/repair of individual apartments. This full-time role covers interior spaces, common areas, and exterior cleanup with a focus on safety and upkeep.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm. Requirements include a High School Diploma (preferred) and good communication skills. Salary is $40,000 per year with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, hallways, lobby, common areas and restrooms.
• Dust furniture, windowsills, countertops and fixtures.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose trash in common areas and apartments.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming.
• Maintain supplies in bathrooms and common areas.
• Notify managers about major repairs and safety concerns.
• Assist with snow removal for sidewalks and parking areas.
• Set up and arrange decorations for events.
