Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites. The role requires flexibility, good attention to detail, and the ability to follow client specifications.

Schedule includes Full Time, 5pm - 2am, Monday–Friday with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Equal Opportunity Employer and on-the-job training provided to ensure quality cleaning across facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or at least 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces via sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and manage waste; use of a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and backpack vacuums.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the scope of work or customer needs.
