Mundeleinparks is hiring a Custodian (Facility Maintenance) in Mundelein, IL. The position is full-time, non-exempt, and unionized, with an evening schedule from 11:30am to 8:00pm. You will clean and maintain multiple park district facilities and support recreational programming.

Essential duties include cleaning, restrooms, room setup, and coordinating minor repairs. Requires 18+ and a high school diploma or GED, with CPR/First Aid and AED required within 90 days and a valid Illinois driver's

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum high school graduate or GED.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, walls, fixtures in activity rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, lobbies and hallways.
• Empty waste receptacles and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Clean rugs, carpets, furniture, and window coverings; dust and polish surfaces.
• Wash windows and door panels; maintain cleanliness of lighting fixtures and counters.
• Prepare furniture setup for programs and notify management of major repairs.
